With a career spanning more than 40 years, multi-Latin GRAMMY®-winning and GRAMMY-nominated Marco Antonio Solís has established himself as one of Mexico’s most successful artists of all time. To showcase Solís’ legacy as a legendary multifaceted artist, the GRAMMY Museum proudly presents Y Para Siempre… Marco Antonio Solís, located in the Museum’s permanent Latin Music Gallery.

Y Para Siempre… Marco Antonio Solís explores five major chapters from Solís’ life and career starting with his early years as an artist, the formation and evolution of Los Bukis, and his family and years growing up in Michoacán, eventually progressing to the solo artist he is today with a massive worldwide fan base. The five chapters of the exhibit are titled:

Michoacán Roots The Solo Artist His Voice and More The Most Beloved Miles from Michoacán This exhibit captures the deep and genuine connection that exits between Solís and his fans, including a collection of personal gifts given to Marco Antonio by fans from all over the world from the last four decades.

Exhibit highlights include:

Green tuxedo worn by Solís while performing with Los Bukis The first award given to Los Bukis by their record label, Discos Melody, in the 1970s Gold studded jacket worn during Solís’ concert at the Hollywood Bowl in 2019 Wardrobe worn on the album cover and in music videos from En Pleno Vuelo, Solís’ GRAMMY-nominated debut solo album Solís’ blue Taylor guitar, used during his performance at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos in Madrid in 2007 Handwritten lyrics And more!
