The accessories


While exploring the old Hasard de Cheratte coalmine, the photographers discovered thousands of serial numbers painted on lockers, worn-out shoes, tokens, and score cards on which they could read names that sounded Italian, Turkish, Spanish, and Dutch… Although the function of some of the objects remains unknown, the photos focus on the emotion, highlighting the remnants of this glorious industrial past.
