Women are protagonists in Italy Pavilion

Promoting girls’ education in Pakistan means facilitating a reduction in poverty. An educated woman encourages her own children to study, manages her family better and plays a more active role.

The project aims to enhance poor and excluded women’s access to and control over land as a strategy for empowerment and fighting hunger.
The rural women are from Guatemala, India and Sierra Leone.

The project focuses on training Rwandan women about women rights on land and on obtaining the dissemination of this information throughout the territory of Rwanda to overcome customary discriminations

The school of trades in Uganda’s Kayunga District offers every year to 400 students the opportunity to attend an intensive course of trades.

Valore Mamma is a project of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, established in 2012 with the goal of supporting motherhood as a central aspect in women’s lives, and a source of creativity.

The Milan Chapter of the Associazione Donne Giuriste Sezione di Milano organized legal events and seminars during the Expo 2015 semester. These events focused on the right to food and good nutrition.
