Antonino Catanzaro, the creator and supervisor of the Cerda museum, conveys in every word his passion for the Targa Florio. The museum is situated in an old garage that once was the headquarters of the Alfa Romeo Racing Team. It exhibits a remarkable collection of photos, mostly in black and white, as well as historical objects, trophies, books, leaflets, suits of famous pilots, catalogues, registers and so on. Thanks to skilled artisans who made large coloured plastic car models you can admire, in the Cerda museum memorable scenes of some Targa Florio editions. The most interesting object on display is the 1926 plaque “targa”, the only one which Vincenzo Florio gave to the car manufacturer Bugatti, who ranked first, second and third
