Daylilies are one of the most carefree and easy perennials to grow. Available in a rainbow of colors, daylilies also come in a wide variety of flower shapes and sizes, including doubles, spiders (long, narrow petals) and small flowered types. With over 30,000 registered named varieties today, there are daylilies to suit every gardener’s taste.
Daylilies (genus Hemerocallis) should not be confused with the true Lily (genus Lilium) which are grown from a bulb and best recognized as the Easter Lily.
The Daylily Garden was planted and is cared for by Diane Fitz & Deborah Storck.
