STORIES // Albergo delle piante

With this project we wanted to recover a controversial urban space which is the Market of piazza del Corviale, creating the first public and shared plant nursery in Rome.

Hotel delle piante has seen the participation of the inhabitants of the district, of the users Centro Diurno Mazzacurati, those of Cism Asl Roma D, those of the Centro di Aggregazione Giovanile Luogo Comune, those of Arci solidarity, as well as all the people who wanted to take part.

The unused spaces of the square have been transformed - without distorting its shape - into a green space, where the guests of the mental health center and of the day care
center can spend pleasant time, like all the other residents, reading, listening to music or playing.
