Our Colours. Our City.

Being situated on the picture perfect banks of the Brisbane River, opposite the CBD of Brisbane, QPAC has high visibility from the City, the South-East Freeway and Victoria Bridge. It is not surprising then, that the 11-storey flytower walls are often used as a canvas for a number of projections and installations.

Developed by artist Craig Walsh for Queensland Biennial Festival of Music in 2003. In this work, QPAC technical staff assisted in the art installation of what appeared to be bands of light that changed like lights on a stereo. The title of the work reflects the geographic coordinates of QPAC.
