MP5

MP5 is an Italian artist known for her incisive black/white drawing style that she uses in many different ways.  Her art images lead to contemporary myths that underlie a critical and politically committed vision of reality. Born in Naples, she studied stage scenography for the theater in Bologna and animation at the Wimbledon School of Art in London and she currently lives between Rome and Paris. Solid presence  in the underground scene and in counterculture throughout Europe, MP5 in the last ten years has connected her works  especially to the queer and feminist scenario . From the stage scenography studies derives a strong connection with the  vanguard theater, noticeable in all in her  audio / video installations, but also on her mural art works .

Alberonero

Alberonero was born in Lodi and currently lives in Milan. Degree at  the Polytechnic of Milan in Interior Design, Alberonero works with minimal, essential and synthetic forms :  the elements of the visual language are reduced to the minimum terms. His preparation comes from the architectural space and the study of sensations that that space  can transmit once redesigned.

By deleting the shape and using the square geometric form as a pure expression of the single color : the color is the central element of the work. Each color is capable of creating a new and different emotion related to the context and based on their arrangement, geometry and interactions, different possibilities of sensorial emotions are generated in both urban and not urban space.

2501

The Italian artist from Milan , knows as 2501 , works with a wide variety of languages:  painting, installation, sculpture, photography and film. Focused to discovery empty spaces, 2501 experiments with lines, shapes and movements in free compositions that show  their strictness for the common stiff traditional art codes. At the age of 20, he settled in São Paulo to teach painting to “favelas kids”, after studied cinema and video editing in Milan and visual communication at the New Bahaus University in Weimar, Germany.

His multidisciplinary attitude led him to take a documentary approach that evolves towards the Nomadic Experiment project, a series of international exhibitions and a ten-year digital archive focused on countercultures, communities, points of view and experiments all over the world. His work and social commitment, in a constant dialogue between the urban topography and mainly shape of murals: among his most exemplary projects are those made in Los Angeles, Miami, Sao Paulo, Milan, Rome, Detroit, Chicago, Ulan Bator, New York, Atlanta, Kiev.

Always on the wave of a career that leads him to respond to the calls of various artistic institutions and fairs around the world, he took part in various public art festivals such as O.BRA, Living Walls, ALTrove, Art United Us, Artmossphere Biennale, Walk & Talk, Corridor of Wabash Arts, Outdoor, Mural, Traffic Design, Painted the Desert Project. His art and his process are used as an investigative attitude between an single person who has absorbed a series of principles from classical art and the application of them in a contemporary setting. He participated at many solo exhibitions, including The Machine, at the Lissone Museum of Contemporary Art, On the verge of disaster at the Wunderkammern Gallery in Rome, See You On The Other Side and Anatomy of Restlessness at the Soze Gallery in Los Angeles, Freedom of Choice at the Celaya Brothers Gallery in Mexico City.

By using an approach that can be both primitive and sophisticated, the repetition of the searching and evaluation work is underlined by the sensitivity of 2501 to the relationship of the demanding details of the surface and of the applicant. Equally remarkable are the installations created in the open air, empty spaces and established structures or abandoned buildings. The symbiotic connection between “positive “and “negative” space is always present , because each element swaps his own meaning back and forth.
