International cooperation projects and micro-entrepreneurship

Several of the winner projects of "Projects for women competition" are focused on international cooperation. Realised by Italian actors, the projects are placed in different countries, with the common aim to contribute to female empowerment.

Togo, Savanes Region, the project combines the development of the agricultural sector with local female entrepreneurism, affirming the right to food. After 3 years, it has promoted 5 cooperatives.

The project aims at improving the living conditions of 600 women who are discriminated to get back their dignity thanks to potato farming.
