1930s Ebonised Doors, Eltham Palace 1930s Ebonised Doors, Eltham Palace

This is the door leading from the dining room to the entrance hall. These ebonised doors are created using the classical motif of the Greek key pattern in mica. Incorporated into the classical design are Narini’s applied lacquer animals. Inspiration of these animals came from visits to London zoo.
