- Description: In recognizing the merit of studying the law of succession, which the Prophet had often emphasized, al-Ḥasan b. al-Baqā al-Qussī (al-Qaisī?) al-Zaydī Šaraf al-Dīn (fl. before 700/1300) delivers a comprehensive work on this issue, whilst supplying the single sentence with examples and citing the opinions of scholars there on. His work is divided into many unnumbered chapters, which are further structured into subsections and examples (مثال), as well as questions and topics (موضع). The extant text beginsf.1v: باب الادلة على الفرائض من الكتاب المبين قال الله تعالى للرجال نصيب مما ترك الوالدان والاقربون الخ f.6v: باب ذوي الارحام والكلام فى هذا الباب يقع فى ثلاثة فصول f.12v: باب من يرث بطريقة الولاء etc. The extant text ends on f.113v: باب الرد على ذوي السهام من ذوي الانساب f. 114v: باب الارث على الولاء من مجموع الفقه وباسناده الى على عم الخ
