2 Resign, 3 Fired in Faculty Revolt at IIT

Doblin’s plans for ID provoked the ire of existing faculty and students alike. When word of his appointment reached the school, tenured faculty members resigned in protest, and students wrote a letter to the president of Illinois Tech opposing the decision to hire him.
