A Myanmar-endemic species, the Hooded Treepie (Crypsirina cucullata) has silver feathers on its body with a black head. It can be found in forests and shrublands of Myanmar's central lowlands. Its harsh rasping call has also been recorded in areas close to human habitation. This species is classified as Near Threatened in the IUCN Red List.
