Gogi Saroj Pal worked mainly with lithographs in her early career. Her works with faces, portraits, images, children with legs crossed, arms folded, recumbent figures always expressed a sense of deep solitariness. She later experimented with many media, including gouache, oil, ceramic and weaving. Her works usually have women as their central subject, and many of her paintings have elements of fantasy that comment on women's conditions.
