3 Bicas Fountain

For the 6th EDITION of WOOL, we brought to Covilhã a group of 4 artists, 2 portuguese and 2 foreigners. Sebas Velasco (Spain), Douglas Pereira (Brazil), Kruella d’Enfer (Portugal) and Mário Belém (Portugal) were invited to develop interventions in the historic center, once again inspired by the local identity, which we consider to be everything that makes this place unique: traditions, songs, gastronomy, personalities, history, fauna and flora, etc.

The artist composes visual narratives of a magical nature that are rooted in a balance between the familiar and the unusual and that explore various subjects inherent to communication, popular culture and the present human condition.
