89plus Panel, Design Indaba conference, Cape Town

During the 2014 edition of the annual design conference, Design Indaba, 89plus presented its first panel in South Africa. Moderated by 89plus co-curators, Hans Ulrich Obrist and Simon Castets, together with Another Africa founder, Missla Libsekal, the panel was convened with 5 emerging artists within the 89plus generation – practioners born in or after 1989. The participating artists included Bogosi Sekhukuni, Jody Brand, Haroon Gunn-Salie, Kyla Philander and Victoria Wigzell.
