Utrecht Town Hall Bridge with Surroundings

Isaak Ouwater specialized in highly detailed townscapes. He lived and worked in Amsterdam, but regularly visited other towns to make sketches, which he worked out in detail on his return. His painting of the Utrecht townscape includes the town hall, which stood on Town Hall Bridge. The Dom Tower is visible in the background.
