Doña Votiva.

Fourteen boards as offers for an unfinished ritual, that open diverse and simultaneous connections. They unfold showing myths, stories and legends that emerged in the flood zones of the Buenos Aires conurbation. Like a knowledge inherited from my parents and grandparents through their methods to inhabit the world. Metaphors and analogies that register organic experiences orally transmitted, destined to get lost, since they are not meteorological, systematic, or scientific. Language is like a magma that slowly abducts everything that touches to turn it into something else, while the images burn down with the crackling stories from my childhood. They both float on the veil of representations, like inhabiting the dream, halfway between memory and oblivion.
Narrations of silence like a rhizome that continually expands until it ceases to exist.
