Earring
The Yi men were usually pierced on the left ear when they were babies, and after reaching adulthood they start wearing earrings made of three beads, with a larger yellow one in the center sided by two smaller red ones, with a few red silk threads hanging from the bottom of each bead. The rich men often wear earrings made of valuable amber or coral while the commoners only afford inexpensive common beads.
