The Sunny Day (艳阳天) is an illustration work for the novel The Sunny Day, which is drew by Fang Zengxian in 1973. Fang is one of the five major artists of Zhe School Figure Paintings. In order to create a convincing image, the artist went to Miyun, Beijing to collect the information of the hero. The artist made a success trial after several sketching with combination of imagination. And managed the figures and surroundings in a coherent way, depicting a peaceful, natural and harmonious life in Chinese villages.
