Epic I

In the painting compositions entitled "Epic", Alex Mylona once again chooses flat structure, large expressive forms, energy and intensity, movement and rhythm, contrast and balance, the combination of curved and angular linear elements. The shapes, although abstract, create the impression of hovering figures or stylized winged angels. Mylona’s art wishes to create a language of symbols, to shape images, feelings and mental moods. The purity of the shapes and the color textures contribute decisively to the very special atmosphere of the compositions of this section.
