In the Bois de Boulogne

The double canepin leaf is painted on the recto with riders and carriages promenading in the Bois de Boulogne, social activity of great importance in late-Nineteenth Century Paris; signed and dated Ch. Detaille, 1880.

The verso is painted with a large monogram.
