木村光佑 Kosuke Kimura (b. 1936)
A native of Osaka. After studying Japanese painting at university, Kimura worked at an advertising firm. Starting from the late 1960s, he created assemblage prints using various types of photographic image clippings from magazines and won a number of prizes in biennales in the 1970s in Japan and abroad. He remains active, staging solo exhibitions as well as sculpting.
