Located inside the private chapel of the Miniscalchi Erizzo family, the altarpiece, created by Agostino Ugolini in 1795, is dedicated to the Immaculate Virgin in glory with the Child in the act of crushing the dragon.
Below, in prayer, Saints Luigi Gonzaga and Francesco di Sales are represented.
The earth globe and the crown in the foreground symbolize the earthly power, which the two Saints, born of noble families, renounced to follow the priestly life.
The choice of these Saints is probably due to the particular recurrence of the names Luigi and Francesco in the family during the 17th-18th centuries.
