The Taitsing (Great Arrow) was, 815NRT, 192 ft. x 31.5 ft. x 20.15 ft, one of the great clippers of the golden age. Composite built as a full rigged ship by Charles Connell & Co, Glasgow in 1865 for Findlay & Longmuir, she took part in the 1866 Great Tea Race. She was lost on September 20, 1883 off Zanzibar.
