From London Midland & Scottish Railway Collection. A boy selling refreshments to a customer on a train from the platform at Holyhead station, about 1905. He carries the refreshments, which include bars of chocolate and jars of sweets, in a basket around his neck.

He wears a uniform, with 'Refreshment Rooms' stitched into his hat. The London & North Western Railway's station at Holyhead served boat trains for Ireland.
