Even though the Hausa blue indigo has been likened to the Yoruba’s Adire, the Tuareg’s Tagelmust, Japanese Shibori and the Blue indigo cloth of the Manding people in Mali, the dyers at Kofar Mata insist that theirs is different since they employ only natural ingredients and distinct dyeing methods.
