A jewel butterfly from Iron Range in far north Queensland, Hypochrysops theon johnsoni, male paratype, QMT152218. This image combines the power of the 200-megapixel Hasselblad H4D-200MS camera, using its 120mm Macro lens plus extension tube, with the fabulous lighting and computing power of the Visionary Digital BK-Plus Lab system. It was stacked from twelve source images with Zerene. Pin and dust removed with Photoshop.
