From 1745 (year 21 of Yeongjo) to 1753, military guards to escort Yeongjo’s royal procession were recommended by the Dochongbu office and Yeongjo gave final approval. With a title ‘Eopil’, candidates are mentioned in 4 pages. This picture was chosen to select 6 officials to escort royal carriage on his way back from the tomb of Queen Jangsun, a wife of Yejong, in Paju, Gyeonggi, in 1752.
