Karen Lamassonne has worked in different artistic practic- es such as video art, photography, printmaking and painting. A Morales is a comic interpretation of the work beside it of Dario Morales, artist who is known for portraying the nude female body usually represented sliding off mattresses, rock- ing chair or beds. Inspired in the speed of fim, Karen creates a sequence in which a model falls from a rocking chair while the scenery is destroyed; criticizing the representation of the fe- male body that is usually sexualized from the male perspective.
