An adaptation of G. Mercator’s map of Poland and Silesia by J. Speed

In the SE, on the map: "Dirck Grÿp Sculp.". On the back, a text in English: "The Description of Poland", "THE DESCRIPTION OF POLAND", page numbers: "31", "32". In the NE, above the title, an ornament with an oval portrait frame. In the SE, under the text inside a frame: "Q", "Fct". In S, in pencil: "3717". A map engraved by the Dutch engraver Dirck Gryp [Grijp], and published by George Humble, an English bookseller and vendor of paintings, partner of John Sudbury, with whose assistance he published several versions of Speed’s atlas.
