REVIVAL OF AXMINSTER CARPET TRADE. A boom in the carpet trade is giving impetus to the revival of the industry at Axminster, and a factory completed only three months ago is to be extended immediately. Photo shows - A "Creeler" working between his creels. His job is to watch the bobbings feeding the machines and see they do not run out. He has nearly 12,000 bobbins to watch.
