CUCUMBERS BY THE MILLION. AW/CN At Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, there is a nursery said to be the largest in the world. This picture was taken in the cucumber seed house which holds 1,000 cucumbers. From each cucumber there is an average of 200 seeds and each seed in the spring of next year will produce an average of 5 dozen cucumbers.
