In India, estimates of street and working children vary from 10-25 million. More than often, these children are also at high-risk for disease and abuse. They are easy targets for drug peddlers and petty crimes which results in many of them ending up in juvenile centers. As a nation, it is time we stop this vicious cycle of social injustice.
