All paintings belonging to one story are kept in a bundle called ‘Pothi’ which is a compilation of 30-50 such pages arranged chronologically. The narrations are done via dramatic voice modulation and songs supported by musical instruments like vina, taal and huduk creating an enchanting theatrical ambiance. Most prevalent themes of these pothis are Ramayana, Mahabharata and Puranas.
