  • About the craft: Tangsa ethnic community residing in the Changlang district of eastern Arunachal Pradesh is believed to have migrated from Mongolia, Yunnan and Mynamar many centuries back. The Tangsas have a rich cultural heritage and are the bearers of traditional knowledge and skills of natural food processing and preservation, sustainable cooking, weaving, architecture and basketry.
