A WD class steam locomotive, stationed at New Jalpaiguri station

This WD class steam locomotive was manufactured by Baldwin Loco Works, USA. It was in service from 1948 to 1993. It was recommissioned on 14th February 2001 to promote Rail-tourism on some routes. Since the last few years it is stationed in front of New Jalpaiguri station.
