A Woman of Dai People (傣族妇女像) was painted in 1983. It integrated European Impressionism with Chinese folk art. The artist drew a woman in the center of the picture with featured costume and accessories of Dai People. The bright color of bun and belt are in harmonious and aesthetic contrast with the various green colors of the water and trees in the background. The color and strokes in picture convey a relaxing and smooth feeling. Meanwhile the appropriate adoption of scraper techniques made the work even better.
