Abandoned Staircase

The restoration of Wilton's front houses by Tim Ronalds Archtects made as few interventions as possible to retain the unique charm and character of Wilton's after decades of disrepair. This staircase originally moved between the first and second floor of No. 4 Graces Alley. It was not sufficiently structurally sound to be of functional use but was retained to show the previous layout and history of the building.
