"Adorno as Oliver Hardy in The Bohemian Girl and The Burden of Despair" portrays the German philosopher Theodor W. Adorno (1903 - 1969) as the character "Ollie" starring Oliver Hardy, the fat, of the comedy duo Fat and Slim in the movie The Bohemian Princess of 1936. Adorno was a poet who saw art with some seriousness, who even questioned whether it was possible to write poems after Auschwitz, He was one of those people who saw art as something very serious, almost sacred. He did not consider humor to be a part of it. Erwin already believes that humor helps to talk about some important things. "It is possible to write poems despite the horror. It's really necessary. "Humor, used by Erwin Wurm, is therefore a means of questioning human nature for itself.
