Aerial view of Arsenal Park taken from top of New State Capitol. Built in 1838, it was important to development of the southwest, as well as the Mexican War and the Civil War. Later it became part of Louisiana State University, served as library storage and a barn. The Arsenal is now a museum housing exhibits on military history. Date: 1950's
