Though they are typically a one-piece dress, this blouse is part of a two-piece chèung sāam Cantonese opera costume. It is heavily sequined and beaded overall, primarily in a floral pattern. The blouse has narrow sleeves, no cuffs and opens completely along right side. It is secured with metal snap fasteners and has a high collar and rounded hem.
