Detail of the sixteen-sided Hall of Mirrors in the Amalienburg, a hunting lodge on the grounds of Nymphenburg Palace in Munich, Germany. The walls and ceiling are completely covered in silver-leaf baroque scrollwork and floral bas-reliefs. One of the eponymous mirrors occupies most of a wall between a French door and a window, in a carved silver frame. An Imperial Eagle is sculpted above the niche containing the door.
