The kitchen ceiling and wall in the Amalienburg hunting lodge on the grounds of the Nymphenburg Palace, in Munich, Germany. The Rococo style building was constructed in the 1730s, by François de Cuvilliés, for the Holy Roman Emperor Charles VII and his wife, Maria Amalia of Austria. The walls and ceilings are both covered in tiles depicting eighteenth-century scenes and patterns.
