Photographed some time between 1971 and 1975, the German-born photographer John Gay has captured an elderly walking past the decorative entrance to the Tyger boutique. The shop was located at 29 Kensington Church Street in the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea, at the junction of Holland Place.
