An unfinished panel for Keith Michael Jones

The collection of UK AIDS Quilts were made between 1989 and 1996 to commemorate friends, lovers and family members who passed away from an AIDS related illness during this time. These individual panels were never sewn into quilts and often refer to a single person or message. You can zoom in to some of the specific details listed below.

This unfinished panel has the name Keith Michael Jones at the top along with the dates June 21 1956 - March 26 1995. There is ample space below the dates for further design that was perhaps not completed. The colourful border is almost of a Fluxus style, with contrasting colours, leaf, bird and architectural designs.
