CONSIDERING SO LITTLE AVAILABLE RESOURCES, THEIR INTUITIVE MANAGEMENT OF ENERGIES, ALLOWED THEM TO SURVIVE FOR LONGER THAN TWO MONTH IN A PLACE WHERE LIFE WAS NOT MEANT TO EXIST.

In October 13th 1972 an Uruguayan airplane crashed on the Andes where a group of young people suddenly found itself exposed to unprecedented conditions.

At 3800 meters high in the snow and 30 degrees below zero, they could only rely on their intuition and creativity while transforming few objects into architecture, protections and refuge.
