18th century Silk chiné dress retaining original fabric, cuff detail and ribbon significantly altered in 19th century to include foreshortened sleeves, remade front fastening bodice, cartridge pleating at waist and bell shaped skirt with applied tape hem. Chiné has cream ground with pink and blue floral motifs.
