Antonio Balestra's Self Portrait

Antonio Balestralate 17th / early 18th century

Museo di Castelvecchio

Museo di Castelvecchio
Verona, Italy

The portrait takes advantage of the oval format, which responds perfectly to the pose of the sitter and the lines of the face framed by the wig.
