Jack Bain worked for the Bank of Australasia and then the ANZ bank from October 1951. He worked in many branches over his career from the 1920s to his retirement in 1966. The architect of this bank building was Lange Powell. Erected in 1925/26. Cairns is a city in Queensland, Australia on the tropical north east coast of Far North Queensland. Yidinji (also known as Yidinj, Yidiny, and Idindji) is an Australian Aboriginal language whose traditional language region is within the local government area of the Cairns Region.
